Floating was invented in the 1950’s by John C. Lilly.  The first float tanks for home and commercial use were on the market in the 1970’s.

Floating has become very popular in the last couple of decades, with multiple float centres opening across North America every month.

Interested in experiencing this amazing activity for yourself? Here’s a bit more of what you need to know;

Arrive about 10 minutes before your float session.  We take care of the rest.  No need to bring anything for your session as people typically prefer to float in their birthday suits.  You enter the float room, we give you the low down.

You take a shower, hop in the “pod”, float in 1200lbs of epsom salts and do absolutely nothing for an hour. have another shower when your float is over and then prepare to feel a post float glow for the remainder of the day.  Simple!  We supply the towels, the soap, shampoo, conditioner, and anything else you could need.

When you are finished, feel free to enjoy a cup of tea or water in our lounge area to relax and slowly get back into the “real world”.
